Senior girls. Take notes on the types of clothing to bring to your session from Danielle. Clothing choice is so important in having a succesful session. All of my senior reps did a wonderful job picking out clothing that flattered their figure. Long sleeved solid tops are always a good idea!

Senior Reps

A big shout out to all my senior reps. Thank-you, Thank-you, Thank-you! Your pictures are amazing. Unfortunately I took way too many so it is taking me along time to get through them. As I work on them I will try to post a couple of each so you can have a sneak peek. I am working on Stacy's right now. Here are a couple adorable poses from the indoor session. I will add a couple from the outdoor as soon as I get them done.

Photography Awards

I am excited to have recently won numerous awards for portraits entered in competitions at the Twin Cities Professional Photographers Organization and most recently at the Northern Light Print Competition in North Dakota.

The Northern Light Print Competition is an annual event open to professional photographers across Minnesota, North and South Dakota. Photographs are judged on impact, creativity, style, composition, print presentation, color balance, center of interest, lighting, subject matter, print quality, technique and storytelling.

I received a merit award for my print of Alexandra Armstrong titled “Hey boys, wanna play?” This print was also selected to be on the Minnesota Professional Photographers Loan Collection and will be on display along with the other winners at the Savage Art Studios & Gallery May 10-29th.

Thank-you Alex for being such a wonderful model for me. Isn't she absolutely adorable!

Publications

I have been honored to be published in Minnesota Moments Magazine and most recently on the Dakota County Technical College website. I feel so truly blessed to be doing something I love and it feels so good to give back to the community whenever I can. I thank the Lord up above, my family and friends and my instructors at DCTC for giving me the skills, the courage and the belief to be able to pursue this wonderful career.
