Rock the Shot January Photo Challenge: Favorite shot of 2012

Wow it was tough picking out a favorite shot from 2012. I have so many favorites. But I decided on this one I took of my granddaughter  It has always been a favorite of mine. I love the bokeh in the foreground and background and how the colors pop and her eyes just sparkle.

Free session and 11x14 Wall Portrait to one deserving family

The Olivia Act , named after one of the children killed in Newtown, Ct., was started by a photographer who wishes to remain anonymous. Olivia’s family had family pictures taken a short time before she was killed. Those pictures are precious and now priceless to them. Upon hearing this, this photographer was moved to give away a 30 minute family photo shoot and has challenged other photographers to do the same. We go about our daily lives and sometimes we don’t take the time or have the resources to have family photos taken.

Cherished Moments Photography will be donating a family session and an 11x14 wall portrait to one deserving family. 
Please email dvosejpka@means.net with "The Olivia act" in the subject line. Include why you are nominating this family and include their information (name, address, email, phone number) so I can contact them. Nominations need to be in by January 20th with the session occuring in late January or early February 2013.
