I am in love with this adorable little girl.  Her mommy brought her in to model my daughters line of baby blankets and hats.  I secretly wanted to hide her in my basket and keep her.

She is one of the cutest little babies I have ever seen and so very patient with all my

crazy ideas!

Cherish your time with your family!

So today I realized two things.
1. Just how important pictures really are.
2. Why it is so important to go to a photographer that no matter how long it has been, will still have your negatives/files in storage.

I had a customer call today to order pictures from a session I took eight years ago. She went on to tell me that two years after taking these pictures their daughter was killed after a car had backed over her.
Well that family picture I took was the last family picture they had. These pictures now are priceless to this family. It makes me feel so good to know that I am able to give this family those precious pictures. Pictures they may not have been able to get had they gone somewhere that doesn't store customers files/negs.
Cherish those times with your family and document them with pictures and videos. Someday those pictures and videos will mean the world to someone.

Paul & Abbies Guest Book

I just got done designing Paul & Abbie's guest book for them from their engagement session.
I love the way it turned out. They are such an adorable couple and I can't wait to photograph their wedding this summer.

Say it ain't so Jack

Can it really be Jack's final session too! I am always a little sad when my Babies First Year clients come in for their final session. I am going to miss seeing them every few months.

Yep Jack doesn't look too happy with me for this pose. In fact this is right before he tried filling by bath with his own water. Haha...yep that's right. I guess that's what I get.
